global youth art contest
Calling all young artists! IFAW is excited to announce a global youth art contest in partnership with the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for World Wildlife Day (WWD) 2021!
In coordination with World Wildlife Day’s theme “Forests and livelihoods: sustaining people and planet”, this year’s art contest will focus on the interconnectedness of forest ecosystems, their species, and the countless people who live in or near them. Artists are encouraged to depict animals in forest ecosystems and to show the importance of protecting biodiversity for these animals as well as for humans who derive their livelihoods from such places.
We are seeking artwork from kids aged 4-18 and all contestants have until February 7th, 2021 to submit their work. The winning entry will be presented at the virtual high-level WWD event on March 3rd, 2021.
Continue below or read here to indicate that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Contest Official Rules. Additionally, you understand that your artwork submission will not be returned after the contest but may, in IFAW’s discretion, be featured on ifaw.org. at IFAW’s international headquarters, and/or used in connection with IFAW’s promotional and other materials, such as (without limitation) calendars, classroom posters, greeting cards, contest promotions, brochures, newsletters, and merchandise.
