Graeme Cottam
United Kingdom
Graeme Cottam is a lawyer and environmental activist.
He worked in law and accounting in London, Moscow, and New York before eventually retiring and committing himself to causes he believes in. He has served on the boards of two major British libraries, an American family foundation, and a women’s healthcare charity.
Graeme is a fellow at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Royal Society of Arts. In his spare time, he works with fellow activists to conserve a local nature reserve.
On IFAW’s Board of Directors, he shows up with an activist’s enthusiasm and a lawyer’s pragmatism.
