Calling all young artists! IFAW is excited to announce a global youth art contest in partnership with the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for World Wildlife Day (WWD) 2020!
In coordination with World Wildlife Day’s theme “Sustaining all life on earth”, this year’s art contest will focus on biodiversity and aims to help youth understand the critical role ecosystems and animals play in the health of the planet. Artists are encouraged to depict animals in their natural ecosystems and habitats to show the importance of protecting biodiversity.
We are seeking artwork from kids aged 4-18 and all contestants have until February 3rd, 2020 to submit their work. The winning entry will be presented at the high-level WWD event at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City on March 3rd, 2020.
