Protecting whales and supporting fisheries: New initiative to reduce threats in Canada
Read moretogether, we’re changing the world – one photographic print at a time
Over the past year, our elephant translocation and conservation projects have gained international media attention and deeply resonated with our supporters around the world. As 2018 comes to an end, we want to highlight these critical projects and offer a holiday gift unlike anything before. We joined efforts with wildlife photographer Donal Boyd to create a limited-edition photographic print series. Our goal is to raise $350,000 to help protect these iconic elephants and other animals around the world.
During recent trips to Africa, photographer Donal Boyd connected with the animals on a personal level and beautifully captured the spirit of each individual elephant. Take for example, Dida, one of the last standing big tusker matriarchs in Tsavo. At 55 years old, her wisdom is incomparable and her portrait embodies her regal strength. Also included in the series are Matabele and Sizi, two rescued elephants in Zimbabwe who have developed a strong friendship that will help them transition to life in the wild.
