Henry Ndaimani
Dr. Henry Ndaimani is a spatial ecologist with more than 18 years of experience in conservation, including a decade working at ZimParks. He has contributed to the protection of wildlife species, such as the African elephant, by bridging the gap between scientific knowledge and practical conservation measures. His vast knowledge and skills in geographic information systems (GIS) software, remote sensing, and data analytics have enabled Dr. Ndaimani to promote sustainable coexistence between people and wildlife.
As IFAW’s Landscape Conservation Program Manager, Dr. Ndaimani leads the strategic planning, implementation, and financial management of projects aimed at conserving ecosystems and biodiversity across the organisation's priority landscapes.
He also administers the EarthRanger platform, a data integration and visualisation tool that aids in monitoring elephant movements across the Room to Roam landscapes. His commitment to advancing practical conservation measures through scientific knowledge positions him as a respected figure in the field of wildlife management in Africa.
