BarkBox and its parent company, BARK, want to make dogs as happy as they make us. Their motto is that dogs and humans are better together, which nicely mirrors IFAW’s own vision of a world where animals and people truly thrive in coexistence.
In March 2020, BARK pledged a sponsorship of $25,000 to IFAW and included inspirational messaging inside every box delivered. The campaign was inspired by the Detection Dogs for Conservation work we do alongside our partners at the University of the Sunshine Coast. These dogs are critical in tracking live koalas who need further rescue and care, particularly in the wake of devastating bushfires.
