An orphan elephant calf was just two months old when she got separated from her herd in Burkina Faso. She was found alone, dehydrated and wandering in a small village near a national park that is home to a small group of elephants. Local villagers found the calf and wanted to help, so they contacted IFAW. We’ve been taking care of Nania ever since.
