IFAW has been helping animals around the world for decades, giving us a very broad and good understanding and expertise of the issues. Nowhere is this more evident than in our Companion Animals Programme where we help alleviate the suffering of cats and dogs.
By employing our guiding principle of Adequate Guardianship, we help communities with populations of dogs and cats that are suffering or facing conflicts arising from animals that are unhealthy, aggressive, or a nuisance. By evaluating such problems and developing solutions we help ensure happy, healthy, and safe animals now and in the future.
If your community has a problem with cats and dogs, please read and share the materials here. This guidance has been developed with IFAW expertise and through the strong working relationships we’ve built with our partners around the world.
