Last week the International Fund for Animal Welfare Dubai office was invited to participate in the “Marasina” campaign.
The cleanup beach drive, Marasina, was organized by Dubai Municipality’s Environmental Emergency Office and aimed to clean Al Mamzar Beach in Dubai.
IFAW accepted the Dubai Municipality invitation and we joined them on Friday morning. The IFAW campaign aimed to educate the public why they should be a responsible tourist. We spent the day encouraging the public to think twice before they bring wildlife souvenirs home.
“The Elephant March” was also promoted urging public to help us in ending the trade of ivory and say no to ivory trade. The event was cover by Dubai TV and Al Bayan Newspaper.
