WATCH: Marine Mammal Rescue Rehabilitated Seal Release

In this short video, produced by the International Fund for Animal Welfare, an entangled juvenile seal who came to be known as "Bronx" was found on Cape Cod's Nauset Beach.

After working to free him of his binds, it was decided he wasn't healthy enough to be let go at that time, and working with the Mystic Aquarium, "Bronx" was rehabilitated and then fitted with a tracking tag to better understand seal behavior after he was set free. This video documents the capture and release of "Bronx".
