Ein krankes Haustier, aber kein Geld für den Tierarzt? Vor dieser Situation stehen viele finanziell in Not geratene Menschen in Deutschland. Deshalb eröffnet der IFAW (Internationaler Tierschutz-Fonds) heute in Hamburg eine neue Tierarztpraxis in Zusammenarbeit mit der Tiertafel Deutschland e.V., um bedürftige Tierhalter zu unterstützen.

Ich bin gerade bei der Tagung der Indian Ocean Tuna Commission (IOTC) auf Mauritius, einem Fischereiabkommen für den Indischen Ozean.  Hier wird heftig über das Schicksal und letztendlich über das Fortbestehen einiger Haiarten diskutiert.
