Moon Bears are under grave threat from habitat loss and hunting in Northeast India. At IFAW’s Bear Rescue Centre in Pakke Tiger Reserve, Arunachal Pradesh, orphaned bears receive expert care, nurture and rehabilitation to enable their eventual release back into the wild.

We urgently need to raise £117,600 to nurture 20 bears.

        一个隐蔽的价值数百万美元的野生动物活体及制品市场正在网络交易平台上急速扩张,而这市场中很多贩卖濒危物种的广告的合法性都严重存疑。

        在国际爱护动物基金会(International Fund for Animal Welfare,简称IFAW,www.ifaw.org.cn)今日发布的报告中,揭露了成千上万的濒危物种是如何在网上被非法交易的,而这其中的很多广告信息也缺乏相关支持性文件。

        2014年初,IFAW对全球16个国家280个网络平台的濒危野生动物交易情况开展了为期六周的监测。监测者们记录了共计9,482则销售信息,包含33,006件濒危野生动物活体、器官及制品等。
