В ООН вновь поднимут вопрос о незаконной торговле дикими животными и экологической ситуации в зонах конфликтов

С 23 по 27 мая 2016 г: в Найроби (Кения) пройдет Вторая сессия Ассамблея ООН по окружающей среде. В качестве приоритетной темы заседания  второй год подряд заявлена  проблема незаконной торговли дикими животными. Над решением и популяризацией данной проблемы Международный фонд защиты животных (IFAW) работает долгие годы. Опыт экспертов IFAW  использовался при  подготовке анализа последствий  незаконной торговли дикими животными и продукции  из них,  который будет представлен в ходе пленарных заседаний.

Het was bijzonder indrukwekkend om het afgelopen weekend in Kenia getuige te zijn van de verbranding van 105 ton olifantenivoor.

Het IFAW zet zich op meerdere fronten in om een einde te maken aan de grootschalige afslachting van olifanten om hun ivoor. En we zijn er trots op de Keniaanse regering en de Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) bij deze sombere gebeurtenis bij te kunnen staan.
