Along with many of you, I have found the recent reports on the continuing plight of elephants in Africa particularly distressing. You may have seen from my colleague’s blogs, in the past few months alone, we were on the ground in Cameroon documenting heart-breaking scenes of massacred elephants.

Spotlight United Arab Emirates: A Hungry Cheeta Caught in Al-Ain City dies

Al-Ain Zoo confirmed that the cheetah which escaped from his owner house and caught by authority officers died.

Last week, a five-month old cheetah, somehow, managed to escape its cage and ran away from his owner's house. It kept roaming in Al-Ain city streets and its touring ended in breaking out and sneaking into Emirati family house while they are inside.
