Today, the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) and a coalition of other wildlife conservation organizations partnered with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation to crush nearly two tons of illegal elephant ivory confiscated through state enforcement efforts.

Twee jachtluipaardwelpjes zijn onlangs in Somaliland gered uit de handen van ill

Twee jachtluipaardwelpjes zijn onlangs in Somaliland gered uit de handen van illegale handelaars. Na intensieve onderhandelingen werden beide welpen vrijwillig overgedragen aan de lokale medewerkers van het Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF).

Het International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) en het CCF werkten samen om de welpjes te redden. Deze samenwerking is onderdeel van onze missie om jachtluipaarden te beschermen en om wereldwijd de illegale handel in wilde dieren te bestrijden.
