2015 IFAW Animal Action Awards - Who are your Animal Heroes?

Nominations are now open for the 2015 IFAW Animal Action Awards.

IFAW Animal Action Awards are presented around the world each year. Since 2002, over 50 awards have been presented to Australians for their selfless devotion to animals.

If you know an inspiring person or group who dedicate their time, money or resources to making a difference in animals lives, then why not nominate them for an IFAW Animal Action Award

We’re also looking for special animals that have made a difference to the lives of others.

Your nomination will give that extraordinary person – or animal - a chance to be recognised for the amazing work that they do, so tell us who your animal heroes are.

Past IFAW Animal Action award winners

Our most recent award recipients included a vet who works with community dogs in the Northern Territory, two young brothers who’ve raised thousands of dollars for urangutan protection, an animal shelter volunteer, a University research group,– and two dogs, whose actions saved the lives of vulnerable people.

If you know of a wildlife carer, vet, rescue volunteer, organisation - or an animal - who deserves special recognition, now is your chance to let the world know about their great work.

Past Animal Action Award winners have come from all over Australia and from all walks of life – from students to politicians, from scientists to musicians, corporate executives and teachers. Anyone who has done something outstanding in the area of animal welfare can be nominated, so help us find this year’s winners!

Nominate your Animal Hero today!
