I will never understand why some humans cannot value the life of all the wonderful animals God has put on Earth for us to share with and enjoy. All people should learn to, "Live and Let Live". No living creature should be exploited for money or fun. I applaud your work and try to help by signing your petitions. Keep them coming.

I feel the best of creation when I view videos like these. I feel peace and love. I wish that humans didnt get so desperate that they abandon their humanity for survival. We live in a complex, mysterious, painful, joyful existence. Thank you for all that you do.

Elephants are so beautiful. They are very social, smart, loving, loyal, devoted and sensitive to name a few. They feel pain, loss, suffering and heartache just like we do. We have a lot to learn from animals. As I see it, animals have so much more of everything good, then so many humans do.
I find it heart breaking and so very sad that there are so many sick, cruel, heartless, soulless , money hungry, selfish, rotten, barbaric people in this world that will do the cruelest of things to another living, breathing thing and actually get pleasure from it. That really frightens me so much.
What is to be of this world when we let these cruel acts go on? When the people in a powerful position have the power to change everything and don't. How do you live with yourselves? How do you wake up and start a day feeling good when you let these monsters get away with this criminal behavior? When you know animals all over the world are abused, suffering so much and treated so horribly cruel. When their pain is only felt by them and not you? These unspeakable acts must stop!
I BEG YOU, please have a heart and sign all bills to protect innocent animals all over the world. PLEASE end their pain so that they may live a natural life in the wild where God put them. God said we are to be "CARETAKERS OVER ALL THINGS". That means, we are to take care of "ALL things." ALL" includes ANIMALS. "ALL" includes this beautiful world He left us in charge of and "ALL" living things on it. "ALL" includes your duty to PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING and protect and save these animals. PLEASE. I would get down on bent knee if I were in front of you. Show your compassion for the one thing left that really matters...respect for all living things.

Elephants are some of the most wonderful animals on the face of this earth. They exhibit emotions, much like human beings. They share a strong sense of community, and they are basically very gentle creatures. And they are being senselessly slaughtered by marauding poachers for the great god money - the root of all evil. Saving all animals, not just elephants, is one of the greatest, most admirable undertakings any human being can choose to do. I feel certain God will look favorably on those who engage in any activity targeted at saving animals from the detestable, evil acts of those who would eradicate any species simply to make money.

Please, Please stop this senseless killing of these beautiful loving creatures. They must be protected today!!!! It is a known fact that elephants have emotions and feelings very similar to humans. They live in families and grieve when one of thier family members die. How do you feel when someone you love dies?

When will the slaughters stop? When will the uncaring stop? We cannot afford to lose any more of our precious, intelligent elephants. What is wrong with people who think it's all right to slaughter animals by the hundreds? And especially for a stupid reason like wanting their ivory. Why can't these people get it? Ivory mixed into ANYTHING is NOT something that cures anything. It's a totally ridiculous theory. This can no longer go on. If we lose our elephants and rhinos, it upsets the balance and ecosystem of the whole planet. All of these poachers should be shot on sight. The world is watching and more and more people are getting very, very, angry and disgusted. This can only lead to more trouble and more tragedy. Please, please do something. These lovely animals cannot speak for themselves.

The plight of Indian elephants, especially in the state of Kerala is of different nature.... but the end result is prolonged suffering for these gentle giants in the hands of humans in the name of religion/tradition and what not!!

petition site by Ms Kanwar, which is to be forwarded to the Chief Minister of Kerala after getting enough signatures

http://www.change.org/petitions/stop-elephant-abuse-in-the-name-of-relig...

Maybe an international boycott by tourists might help in putting stop to this elephant abuse in kerala
