Blog Roundup: Our recent Bosnia to Germany dog move

Ellie Milano with one of the dogs we helped.

In the final months of 2015, our companion animals team morphed into an animal rescue team. As the result of a Humane Community Development programme that we executed in Jajce, Bosnia, we shut the dilapidated municipal shelter there and transported 66 dogs to new, loving homes in Germany.

If you missed the frequent blogs on the dramatic move, with wonderful storytelling by the team members who carried out this historic move—Kati Loeffler, Ellie Milano, and Kate Atema—you can binge read them below
