Protect Kangaroo Island’s marine life … AGAIN!

With your help, deafening seismic testing was delayed in the precious waters off Kangaroo Island, when Environment Minister, Tony Burke, recently decided further environmental impact assessments were required. Amazingly, though, the system allows the company involved to withdraw their application and simply submit a new one. That’s why we need your help again to get this second application refused and to protect this amazing marine environment, one of only three recognised feeding areas in Australia for blue whales and host to other whale and dolphin species, sea lions, sharks and tuna.

Tell the Environment Minister, Tony Burke, to uphold his previous decision and protect Kangaroo Island’s marine life, and the tourism and fishing industries it supports, from oil and gas exploration.
