Nathan Herschler is Program Operations Director with IFAW. Nathan leads IFAW’s program operations team to develop and implement IFAW’s global planning, monitoring, and evaluation approach, and oversees IFAW’s program and regional operations budgets. An experienced strategic planner and facilitator, he works extensively with IFAW’s program teams to develop and manage impactful campaigns to protect animals.
Nathan has previously led campaigns to protect big cats in captivity, polar bears, and caribou as an attorney and policy advocate with IFAW’s United States office. He has also worked on international free trade negotiations and supported IFAW’s work at the Convention on Biological Diversity and CITES.
