La Commission baleinière internationale (CBI) a publié lundi une évaluation[i] portant sur le nouveau programme nippon de chasse à la baleine dans l’océan Austral. Conduite par un groupe indépendant de scientifiques reconnus, l’étude conclut que le Japon n’a pas pu prouver la nécessité de tuer davantage de baleines dans l’océan Antarctique.
