On the brink of an expected announcement by the European Commission regarding a proposal to ban the trade in seal products, a new poll conducted by Environics Research for the International Fund for Animal Welfare1 finds that the vast majority of Canadians believe the European Union should be allowed to restrict the trade in seal products.
