A quarter-century in the financial industry has taken Thom Maul all over the world, including a two-year assignment advising multinational corporations in Amsterdam. Thom has seen firsthand how the language of finance transcends borders.
Now he oversees the finances of IFAW offices in 14 countries around the world.
When he first joined IFAW in 2003, Thom recognized that donor trust is mission critical to our business, so he made our financial compliance reporting more transparent. His work has helped build a world-class portfolio of donors, with IFAW’s assets doubling under his leadership.
IFAW’s holistic strategy of operating at the nexus of animal welfare and conservation has proven to deliver profound impact on individual animals and the places they call home. The magnitude of our achievements and our aspirations reflect the tremendous engagement, support and philanthropy of individual and institutional donors.
