Kaila joined IFAW in 2017 with a background in field research and community engagement. As Digital Communications Specialist at IFAW HQ in Washington, DC, she works closely with Program directors to gather stories from the field and develop compelling campaigns across digital platforms. Through her writing, she highlights IFAW’s projects around the globe and aims to help the public not only understand the conservation challenges at hand, but also feel empowered to join efforts to build a better future for animals.
