La saisie de 1,3 tonne d’ivoire vendredi dernier à Hong Kong porte à plus de 5 tonnes le volume total d’ivoire de contrebande confisqué dans la ville en moins de quatre semaines.

Le 20 octobre dernier, les autorités hongkongaises avaient ainsi saisi un volume record de 3,81 tonnes d’ivoire, la plus grosse prise à l’échelle mondiale depuis deux ans. Cet ivoire avait été expédié depuis le Kenya et la Tanzanie.
