Today is world oceans day. On World Oceans Day people around the planet celebrate and honour the body of water which links us all, for what it provides humans and all that it represents, including the wonderful marine life we are privileged to share our oceans with.
This week during a visit to Cozumel, Mexico, our team discovered a dog in desperate need of help. Covered in used motor oil and little more than skin and bones, we found him as we were passing through the mangroves – dense, jungle-like swamps – in the remote, south east side of the island. In his mouth was the carcass of an opossum, as he was starving and scavenging for anything to eat.
