A 12-year-old Siberian tiger underwent a medical operation at Lake Superior Zoo. Zookeepers were returning the unconscious tiger to its enclosure when the tiger suddenly bit down on a zookeeper's forearm. In trying to pry open the tiger's jaw, a second zookeeper suffered minor injuries.
