Restoring Meru National Park 2000 - 2005

For the first time in 10 years, Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) has deemed it safe to deploy a warden-in-charge for Kara National Park. It is a signal that, in the once bandit-prone Meru Conservation Area, the poachers are gone - their guns silenced.
