As I walked into the shelter Sunday morning the cat room manager cried out that kittens had been born overnight! One of the cats brought into the disaster emergency animal shelter gave birth on Mother's Day to 4 healthy kittens! What a wonderful surprise and perhaps the best Mother's Day gift to us all.
