VIDEO: International Ivory Trafficking Alive and Well in China, Help IFAW End it
The International Fund for Animal Welfare communications officer in China, Lisa Hua is quoted in this Sky News article featuring undercover video of an ivory trader in Beijing offering to sell fresh ivory to the Sky reporter for forty-thousand pounds.
Here at IFAW, we have been fighting illegal wildlife trade issues like this for over four decades, and we are now re-focusing our work on illegal ivory trade. We're starting with one of the largest importers of illegal ivory in the world, the United States, asking that government to reinstate a total and permanent ban on all ivory trade worldwide.
You can send the head of the United States Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) delegation a message asking them to do this very thing.
Please take a moment to help us save the world's elephants once and for all.
