Program Communications Officer, IFAW Headquarters

Michael Booth is IFAW's communications lead during Emergency Response and Wildlife Rescue operations.

Since joining IFAW in 2006, Michael's assignments have included disaster animal rescue and relief in places like Haiti, China, Philippines, Indonesia and wildlife rescues in India, Cameroon, Malawi, Brazil and more.

Prior to joining IFAW, Michael produced films on a variety of topics from endangered Sumatran rhinos and sustainable fishing practices in Baja California, Mexico to life in the extreme environment of Antarctica.

Michael holds a Postgraduate in Natural History Filmmaking and Communication from the University of Otago (NZ).
