In her role as Fundraising and PR Manager of Game Rangers International, a conservation NGO protecting wildlife in Zambia supported by IFAW, Sarah works with all five of the GRI conservation projects.
GRI works closely with Zambia Wildlife Authority (ZAWA) in animal welfare, wildlife protection, environmental education, community projects and biodiversity research. Since 2008, GRI have run the Elephant Orphanage Project, currently rehabilitating 13 orphaned elephants before releasing them back to the wild.
Before joining GRI, for three years Sarah worked for Conservation Lower Zambezi managing environmental education and community based conservation projects just outside Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia.
Originally from Shropshire, UK she trained as a lawyer in the City of London and qualified as a solicitor working with energy and environment projects and well as conducting pro bono legal work for international development organisations before moving to Zambia.
