Maha Oda, who joined IFAW in July 2011, leads communications and Animal Action Education strategy development, implementation and evaluation in the Middle East region.
She has initiated and led successful strategic partnerships with Ministries of Education in the UAE, Bahrain and Lebanon. These collaborations have engaged more than 80,000 young people to learn about elephants, exotic pets and conservation.
Maha also raises IFAW’s brand awareness and reputation, increases IFAW's profile among the target audiences and identifies, builds and sustains media relations and collaborations.
Prior to joining IFAW, Maha worked as admission executive where she was responsible for providing professional consulting services to students who want to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the UK.
Maha holds a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Diploma in Social Media Marketing.
