She arrived into our urgent care center at the Zimbabwe Elephant Nursery and we are working day and night to ensure her mental and physical health and our goal is to eventually release her back into the wild where she can thrive. She's getting to know ZEN's other rescued elephants, and we'll keep you updated on her progress!

This week saw the inaugural meeting of a new network dedicated to promoting the innovative use of dogs for environmental work.  The Australian Conservation Dog Network comprises representatives from universities, non-profits, governments, zoos, research institutions and businesses working with conservation dogs.
