Work
Andy Wilson led IFAW’s global development team including major donors, foundation relations, direct mail, advisory councils and online giving.

Andy supported IFAW’s mission by creating innovative marketing strategies that lead to increased awareness, fundraising revenue, relevance and respect among our current target donor audiences as well as identifying new audiences to meet our fundraising needs into the future.

Prior to joining IFAW, Andy held several leadership development positions with Conservation International and the Eurasia Foundation in Eastern Europe and Asia.

Wilson spent eight years living and working in the Russian Far East, where he started and managed five companies, including the first foreign-owned customs bonded warehouse in the region.

He worked as a regional director for Sea-Land Service, a U.S. steamship line, and oversaw the eastern Russian operations for Sea-Land’s joint venture with the Russian Ministry of Railways. He lives in Falls Church, VA with his wife and two children.
