A historic day at CITES for sharks

It was a historic day for sharks at CITES in Bangkok.Today, March 11, was a big day for sharks and may be one of the biggest days in CITES history for the conservation of these animals. Five species of sharks—the oceanic whitetip, three species of hammerheads and the porbeagle—were given Appendix 2 protection against overfishing and exploitation for their fins.

UK politicians united in call on Japan to end commercial whaling

MPs and Peers from across the political spectrum in Britain have called upon Japan to end its cruel and unnecessary whaling programme. More than 30 Parliamentarians attended the launch of our new report, ‘The Economics of Japanese Whaling’ in the House of Commons, all united in their opposition to this outdated, costly and unsustainable practice.

“Eaten by China” 在环保领域早就成了比 “Made in China” 更加出名的说法。
