Is a “selfie” worth an animal’s life?

Sharing photos on social media sites is a fun way for people to show friends what they’re up to. But there is a disturbing trend of people getting too close to wild animals when they’re taking “selfies.” Animals have died and some selfie-snappers have been attacked and injured by the animals they’re posing with. That’s why we’re urging the public to make sure they’re taking “safe selfies” when including animals in their photos.
