Orphan tiger cubs introduced, playing in same enclosure

After several months of treatment and quarantine, orphaned tiger cubs Yarik and Lazovka are now housed together in a spacious enclosure with a total area of one hectare at the International Fund for Animal Welfare-supported PRNCO Tiger Centre.

Finally, instead of just observing one another through fencing, they are able to play as much as they like and interact in the same space, which is extremely important for such highly developed predators.

Even though the tiger cubs come from different families, they established a good rapport incredibly fast.

Now the lives of the tiger cubs at the rehabilitation centre will be much more interesting, as they are not alone anymore.

There is even hope that in the future these cubs will mate after they are released into the wild.
