IFAW campaigning for the Universal Declaration for Animal Welfare
It is shocking to consider that even now there is no global, intergovernmental recognition of the importance of animal welfare legislation. IFAW believes this must change, which is why we support the Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare (UDAW). The adoption of this formal declaration at the UN General Assembly would establish animal welfare on the global political agenda.
The declaration process was originally launched by the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) in 2000. IFAW is part of the UDAW steering committee and is collaborating with other animal organisations in support of the Declaration.
The Declaration is an important way for governments to express their commitment to protecting animal welfare and is a vital springboard to changes in international and national policies and animal legislation. It would help strengthen enforcement of animal welfare measures and promote humane treatment of animals in every corner of the world.

I am against all kinds of killings of innocent animals and birds. The conditions of our mentality are such that the animals will continue to be killed. I am against meat-eating, but it is not going to make a difference. But remember, caring is possible only when we are in a position to take care. Without the facilities and the wherewithal, caring is impossible. We have to be pragmatic; it is no use being sentimental.

people all over the world should reach out to save are endanger animals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it' s necessary for men to know that is only an animal and primate like other animals.......................................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I live in a place where theres rarely any animal cruelty but when I do, then the case and the treatment I have seen, repeatedly, are no less but severe. I pledge to take part in helping these animals not only in my country but to the wide-world. I hope for many more people to realize that theres such thing as help, not just animal rescues but to make animal cruelty illegal. To make offenders think twice before laying a hand on these living creatures.
Animals of this country need help, they need protection. I would like to help everyone, but I do not have such an opportunity, and the people in our country is very cruel. And the current generation (children under 15 years) cost of stray animals as animals. They lay their mouths pitardy, set on fire, raped ... We do not have laws that could be helpful if we have no Government on this disorder.
I would like to ask for help from people who can fix all these problems, which can help the heavenly creations of our country.
I otchaene, I do not know who to ask for help. I was recently denied soma dog that we rescued (it moved to the car right next to our house) and I can not punish someone who did it.
Maybe even your organization could help. Please!
Sorry for bad lyrics, I do not know English, but I hope you understand me.
I agree for another metodo to donate something! Not wird credit card! Thanks!
Please can you provide an alternative method of making a donation other than by credit card for those of us who do not have credit cards? There are many of us and it is becoming more popular to be credit card-less. Thank you
