Protect Australia's blue whales

Blue whale

Whales that come to feed in Australian waters are under threat from oil and gas exploration. Waters off the southern coast of Australia are one of the few places in the world where the majestic blue whale comes to feed each year. Yet the Australian government is considering allowing these areas to be explored by oil and gas companies. The noise pollution from the high-powered airgun arrays used in seismic testing can force whales away from these critical feeding grounds.

Please tell Australia's Environment Minister, Tony Burke, you want to Australia live up to its rhetoric on global whale conservation and protect these gentle giants.
