Elephants are highly intelligent, social and sentient animals. The more I learn about them, the more I realize their significance to the planet. Please protect the elephants!

Tremendous gratitude for all efforts towards shedding light inside all people to realize and take measures towards the correctness of existing with animals peacefully and respectfully. When this is reality I will sleep at night again. It is good to know the majority of us agree and our efforts do pay off as offenders come to their senses, teach appropriate actions and act upon solutions. I imagine a world, this world, of respect and ethical co-existence towards all animals.

I find it really sad that there are still people out there who take pride and joy in something that is based on a species misery and death.

Please don't forget the Borneo pygmy elephants!
Please encourage animal rescue organizations to reunite baby elephants with their mothers who are known to never separate from their calf unless under the most extremely dire circumstances. Fund innovative science that recreates any value taken from ivory, so that the elephants are no longer included in the equation and may finally be left alone. Fund conservation easements that reward land/habitat preservation of these precious giants. I love you king of the jungle (and it's not the lion), elephants!
