The following software is made available courtesy of the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW). Our mission is to improve the welfare of wild and domestic animals throughout the world by reducing commercial exploitation of animals, protecting wildlife habitats and assisting animals in distress. We seek to motivate the public to prevent cruelty to animals and to promote animal welfare and conservation policies that advance the well-being of both animals and people.
Logger 2000 is an automatic data logging program which automatically
collects data from GPS and other ships instruments and stores it in an Access
database. Using Logger, it is also possible to design any number of forms for

RainbowClick is a program designed for the detection and analysis of sounds made by sperm whales. Click on the RainbowClick link on the left to read about some of the program's main features.
Porpoise is a program designed to run only with specilaied electronics modules which convert the high frequency porpoise clicks into lower frequency click enveleopes. Click on the Porpoise Support link on the left to read more about the Porpoise program.

IFAW is unable to offer individual assistance or support to users of the software. Help is provided in help files, text and MS Word documents on the installation disks and also via this web site. The software was written to run under Windows NT4 and Windows 2000 operating systems. The software may be run under Windows 95, 98, ME and XP but may be unreliable. Some problems may be encountered if used with other systems. However, If you believe that you have found a genuine bug, then please report it to whalesong@ifaw.org. Bugs will only be dealt with if and when time is available.
