Captive Breeding of Large Predators
One of the most iniquitous activities of the Southern African wildlife industry is the "captive breeding" of wild predators, an abhorrent practice that not only provides prey for the "canned hunting" industry, but also supplies the local and international wildlife trade.
The Debate on Elephant Culling in South Africa
In September 2005 South African National Parks presented their Report on the Management Strategy to the Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism recommending that culling be approved as one of the method of controlling elephant populations.
