Animal-friendly legislation and policies improve the welfare of companion
animals. In China, IFAW is working with the government to establish their
very first national animal protection laws. Locally, in Beijing, IFAW
works with its partners to revise dog policies to better enable people to adopt
and offer their dogs enriched lives.
