Headed by Dr. Francisco Galindo, Campaign Director for Latin America, and Dick Green International Emergency Relief Manager, IFAW was on the ground immediately after disaster struck and undertook an evaluation of the impact of the tragedy on the animals and habitat.
IFAW is working in collaboration with local authorities, as well as other local
organizations. A coalition has been established with IFAW - UNAM, Donkey
Sanctuary, International League of the Protection of the Horse, U Juarez
Autonomous of Tabasco, College of Veterinarians - Tabasco, Central Veterinary
Urgency Ctr, APAT, Pro-Animal, and WSPA/Hagenbeck Fdn.
