Taking part in an IFAW internship onboard Song of the Whale is a unique experience. As an intern you join all aspects of life onboard and work on a rotation basis (both day and night). This means getting involved in the research and sailing activities, sharing the cooking and keeping the boat clean and tidy. Sometimes on a research leg the boat can leave port without returning to land for two or even three weeks. Find out what life onboard Song of the Whale is like by reading the first-hand experiences of former interns.
