In June 2006, IFAW became Presenting Sponsor of the Emmy-nominated television series, Animal Rescue, which showcases the heroic efforts of people helping animals around the world.
ALEX PAEN, the host of "ANIMAL RESCUE" is an award-winning journalist specializing in international news. Born in Greenwich, Connecticut, Paen was raised in Massachusetts and graduated from UCLA in Los Angeles, California where he also began his journalism.
IFAW’s emergency relief, rescue and wildlife sanctuaries work have been featured many times since the weekly half-hour series was first broadcast in 1997.
The new partnership will bring short features about about IFAW’s global animal welfare work to each weekly Animal Rescue show.
Produced in Santa Monica, California, Animal Rescue is hosted by award-winning news journalist Alex Paen and is seen by more than a million U.S. viewers each week.
The series is broadcast on 235 stations nationwide and in 35 countries around the world through distribution by CBS International.

series all about dogs and the people who love them. In addition to canine tips
