Across the country, supporters find innovative ways of raising funds for IFAW. If you are interested in organising an event in your community, please call 1800 00 4329.

Marine Discovery Centre
IFAW was able to assist the Marine Discovery Centre (MDC) at Henley Beach, South Australia with their expansion plans, helping to create an exemplary learning environment for Marine Studies and conservation. This has enabled the Centre to double its educational service and cater for over 12 000 students each year.

Two Journeys
Mater Hospital Special School recently sent us a copy of their entry into Wakakirri 2008, Story Arts category for National Story Week. Two Journeys is the story of Thumba, a humpback whale on her migration journey to give birth to her first calf.

Mrs Twinkle
Educator and artist Annabelle Wadsworth, an IFAW Circle Club member, has written a novel called Mrs Twinkle. The story follows a star and a boy as they travel up the east coast of Australia discovering animals, habitat, our heritage and relationships. $1 of each book sold is donated to IFAW.

Protect Animals. Respect Nature Wristbands
Fundraising Idea:  IFAW's distinctive wristbands featuring the slogan, 'Protect animals.  Respect Nature', are available for a $2 donation.  In 2005 schools across the country sought donations for the wristbands to help raise funds for IFAW.  For further information call 1800 00 4329.
