Lena Averianova
As Communication and OCM officer in Russia Lena Averianova supporting relationships with IFAW project and media, NGO, and different communities, represent IFAW in Public Events and manage content for IFAW Russia sites and Аnimal Аction Education program in Russia.
Lena Averianova was graduated in 2005 in National Research University Higher School of Economics (in top 5 University in Russia) in Political Science specialization Geopolitics and International relationships. In 2002 Course «Français Général» for certificate of Commercial and industrial Chamber of Paris. In 2007 Moscow Psychologies University –Master of Communications.
Lena Averianova was born in Moscow. Her parents were in business. Grandparents were veterinary. Her childhood was in 9 months in French school (one of the best in Moscow) and 3 summer months with grandparents and animal welfare education.
Since January 2002 Lena Averianova started in IFAW like a volunteer - AAE coordinator in Russia. After the university in 2005 became Press officer assistant. In 2008 - Communication and OCM officer. In the 2009 crisis years, after office reduction remained only together with Masha Vorontsova in the IFAW Russia team.
Lena Averianova actively participated in organizing IFAW successful campaigns in Russia “Spot winter den hunt” 2011, Tiger Forum in St. Petersburg 2010, "Stop seal hunt in Russia" (25 cities march in Russia 2009) , Expedition of sailing ship "Hope” to Sakhalin (WGW campaign 2006), "Tiger Day"(Vladivostok 2004-2011), an Animal Action Education (2002-2011) and others.
Lena Averianova believe in the existence of a positive solution to all situations, any campaign for me, mathematical equations, where the reality - this is raw data, the decision - is the ability to think creatively and act, and the result is a real improvement in the situation (something that you can touch, whether an international agreement, signatures, the new better law, medicine or healed scar in an animal)
