A hard-hitting campaign to combat illegal trafficking of wildlife has been launched at one of South Africa’s busiest airports.

Starting this week passengers arriving and departing from Lanseria International Airport, will be asked to Think Twice about Wildlife Souvenirs by an advertising campaign launched by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW - www.ifaw.org) and the Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT).

Cats at the Malcolm Cat Sanctuary are eager to be fed. Over the last weekend, food distribution continued in Cyprus shelters with suppliers delivering 65 bags of food (1,300 kg) to two shelters, providing support for around 320 animals.

Подведены итоги конкурса детского экологического рисунка, проводившегося в рамках Недели защиты животных-2012 и посвященного белому медведю.
